Bonnie Lorenzen
Bonnie serves as our DCC Kids Director. She oversees curriculum, volunteers, and day to day operations for our children’s ministry. Bonnie is originally from New Mexico, although she has been a resident of Colorado for nearly 41 years. With a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College in psychology with an emphasis in child development, she returned to school and earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Bonnie worked as a teacher at Dennison Elementary in Jeffco for over 20 years before retiring. She is married to Chad, has two children, Elizabeth and Oliver, and enjoys simple hobbies like sourdough bread baking, reading, and gardening along with bike rides with her family.
