Small Group Leader Hub
Our goal is to help Small Group Leaders to help make disciples of Jesus by reaching in to community. Everything you need to feel prepared and equipped for Small Group Leadership can be found here.

Training and Logistics

Small Group Leader Training takes place two times a year in the fall and Spring. This training introduces aspiring leaders to our Small Group structure and mission. If you are a new or aspiring leader, check out our upcoming Small Group Leader Trainings.
Small Group Leader Training 2.0 happens every Summer at Deer Creek. This training provides an overview of systematic theology and how to teach the Bible. If you are already a leader, plan on attending Small Group Leader Training 2.0.
Every Small Group semester your group changes in some way. Some seasons you meet on a new day or time, other seasons you study something new. Before every Semester, please visit this page and fill out your most updated Small Group info.
Every Semester we ask all Leaders to fill out a Semester Closing Questionnaire. This allows us to track Small Group participation, receive feedback on how to best facilitate Small Groups, and identify new leaders!

The purpose of Small Groups is to help people take their next step in following Jesus. This resource will give you ideas on how to assess and encourage others to take their next step in following Jesus in discipleship.
Because Small Groups are about helping others grow in discipleship to Jesus, we have created a list of helpful Small Group Resources. These recommendations will help you discern what to study as a Group.
These Small Group Leader videos were created to help you answer questions that often arise in the context of Small Groups. Check out these videos if you have specific questions around leading your group.
We want to help people get involved in Small Groups. Therefore, we provide childcare reimbursement for Deer Creek Church members and attendees who are currently experiencing a financial hardship and need assistance with childcare while attending one Small Group per semester.
